My Opinion:

 

I've never been a huge fan of Ultima II, because I found their sales lady too aggressive, but after trying out several products from this brand, I'd actually kind of like their products.

 

This eye essence was actually a free gift with purchase, and since you could almost always score a free gift after spending a determined amount of money, their product aren't really that expensive, and their gifts are not sample size, they are actually full size product.

 

Back to this serum, although it has a creamy texture, it's actually very light and it gets absorbed almost instantly, it hydrates my undereye area without feeling heavy. But it does nothing in terms of whitening, my circles are still intact. I would recommend this product if you are only looking for hydration otherwise look elsewhere.

Ultima II doesn't have a webpage, so this review is only my personal opinion on the product.

 

Before I start reviewing this product, I think we all should be aware that collagen is a molecule that is too big to penetrate into the skin, in other words, as a topical treatment it doesn't penetrate deep enough into your skin to have any effect.

 

If collagen doesn't work than why did I get this product? The answer is simple, I've only started researching after getting this product (dumb, I know).

 

Anyway, I've already finish 3 bottles (a bottle will last you for about a week), and surprisingly I did like how it felt on my skin. This is a very light serum that absorbs instantly and it left my skin smooth and hydrated.

 

Although I did like the feel of this product I don't think I'll be repurchasing, because for what it does I do consider it very expensive.

It's really hard for me try out new samples, because if I find something that I like I'll just rush out and get them in full size, and since I'm on a "no buy", it's actually a torture, anyway, here's another list of samples that I've tried in the month of February:

Nuxe Refreshing and Relaxing Cream Mask - HK$280 / 1.7oz

This mask is very strongly scented (floral), and have given me the biggest irritation. I left it on for about 5 minutes and my face has started to itch, I've rinse it off and my skin was still red and itchy. I don't know what's happening, I used to love Nuxe's skin care products, but recently floral scented stuffs seems to be irritate my skin.

I've been searching for an overnight eye mask for ages, and so far the only one that I've tried is O' slee Dark Circle Reducing Sleeping Mask, and I've really liked it. I was really excited to try this out when the sales lady gave it to me, but was very disappointed with the product.

This product comes out like a gel with some tiny bits of blue particles that disappears once you massage it, when you start massaging, those blue particles will warm up, but after leaving it overnight, I did not notice any improvement on my undereye area, it didn't even look hydrated.

L'oreal Revita Lift Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Cream Night Cream - HK$159 / 50ml

Amongst all these samples that I've tried, this is the only one that I'm unsure about, this cream has a very thick texture that I'm not a huge fan, but whenever I use this cream I always wake up with better skin, I'm not sure what has been improved, but I just look better. I think I'll use this a few more times to decide if I want to get it in full size.

My Opinion:

I've only used this as a daily serum, never tried the intensive treatment (too expensive). I usually need 2 drops for each eye and a vial will last me slightly more than a month.

Although I had a really bad experience while shopping for this product, the product itself was really good and I've really enjoyed using it. After using it for about a week, I've noticed that my undereye area was really hydrated and alot smoother. My under eye area can easily develop milia, but i did not have any trouble with this product. Now my only problem is how to repurchase it, because I've sworn that I would not go near a ULTIMA II counter ever again, does anyone knows if I could get this online?

我的意見：

說明書指出這個產品有兩種的使用方式，但小妹從未試過＂眼部急救修護療程＂，因為這樣的使用方法實在太貴啦....

雖然於購買這個產品時曾經有過不愉快的經驗，但用後這個產品真的不錯。一支精華大約可以用到個多月，每次每隻眼只需一滴。用了大約一星期已經見到眼周皮膚有明顯的改善，乾紋小了，眼圈淡了，遮瑕高都用小了。

現在小妹最大的問題就是如何再買，因為我已經用完一set，但真的怕了ULTIMA II的售貨員...

My Opinion:

I've been using this for 3 weeks and I have to admit that this stuff does works, but not in a speedy way, you have to use it consistently for 2-3 weeks before you'll see any effect.

Before this, I was using Dalacin T Topical Solution that I've got in a chemist, and if i compare them, Dalacin is really dry while Ultima II does not dry out my skin at all.

The saleslady also told me to use it in the oilier areas around my face even without break out, it'll prevent my face from breaking out. So far I didn't see any new break outs yet, but as I've mentioned before, I can't tolerate Ultima II salesman, therefore even if I like this product I'll have to get someone else to repurchase it for me.

My little experience with Ultima II:

I 'd never came back from a shopping spree feeling so low, because I've spent over HKD$1,600 on products that I did not wanted. I knew that it was my fault for being so weak....

Well, I've always heard that Ultima II sales lady are very persistent and that a lot of people do not agree with their selling tecniques. I've never had any experience with them, because I've always stir away from them.

Unfortunately, I was at Watson't today, and was searching for the new revlon colorstay lipstick which I couldn't find, and this really "nice" lady found it for me and helped me with a few more purchases (I can't believe that I didn't even realize that she was from Ultima II).

Once I got all my products she'd started to suggest that the immediate rescue stick would get rid of all my acne marks and the recent breakouts that I'm having. I've already started to be skeptical about her, but when I've asked about the price and was told that it was only HK$180, I've decided to get it.

I've paid her the money and that's when the nightmare began. She wouldn't give me back my change nor my product and kept on persisting me into getting the eye set which was HK$1,500. By then, the good impression that I had about her was already gone, but I didn't knew how to get away without being rude, so I've agreed in buying it again..... (yeah I know I'm stupid)

But don't even think that she's satisfy with these, she kept on pestering me for another 15 minutes before she let me go...... I've learned my lesson and I've promised myself that I'm not talking to any Ultima II sales lady ever again....
