Macadamia Natural Oil Set

Price: US$23.99
Local of purchase: Drugstore.com

This set comes with the following:
  • 3.3oz Rejuvenating Shampoo
  • 2oz Moisturizing Rinse
  • 1oz Healing Oil Treatment
  • 3.3oz Deep Repair Masque
  • 2oz Nourishing Leave-In Cream
  • Healing Oil Infused Comb
  • Travel Bag
The reason why I've got this set was because I've previously purchase a Shampoo and Masque in full size and didn't like it, and in order not to waste anymore money, but still wanting to give this brand another chance, I've decided to get a sample set.

So far I've tried the Leave-in conditioner, and I guess this is the only product from the whole set that I might consider purchasing a full size. It smells great, it does not leave my hair sticky and it works great as a heat protectant.

The healing oil treatment was my least favorite product, the scent is totally different in compariosn with the other products, and it has a very strong masculine/musky scent that I'm not a huge fan.

Although this is a tiny bottle, it'll last you for awhile because you only need a tiny bit of product for your hair, if you use too much it will leave your hair greasy. Unfortunately I have a full size bottle of this product, so I'll try to make it work and write a more detail review about it later.

    My Opinion:
I've watched inumerous rave about this product and had really high expectation about it, so when ulta was having a buy one get one 50% off, I just got 2 tubes of it.
This product smells amazing, left my hair really smooth after application, but it didn't repair, I've already gone thru half a tube and I did not notice any improvement on my hair texture, and to be honest, I found Kao's Essential to work better than this, and they are alot cheaper.

    Macadamia Natural Oil Rejuvenating Shampoo

    Contents: 10oz
    Price: US20.99

Our Rejuvenating Shampoo is designed to add moisture and protection to all hair types and is excellent for dry, damaged hair.

    • Sulfate and paraben free
    • Gently cleanses chemically treated, damaged hair
    • Replenishes moisture with no heavy build-up
    • Builds protection from harsh daily environmental elements
Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerin, Cocamide DEA, Glycol Distearate, Cocamidoprophyl Betaine, Zinc Pyrithione, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Dimethicone, Hydroxypropyl Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Parfum/Fragrance, Disodium EDTA, Carbomer, Methylparaben, Linum Usitatissimum (Linseed) Seed Extract, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Citric Acid, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavander) Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Propylparaben, Sea Salt, Sodium Chloride, Stearic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Tocopheryl Acetate, Triethanolamine, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Hydroxyisohexl 3 Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Alpha IsoMethylIonone, Butylphenyl Methypropional

    My Opinion:
Personally I prefer shampoos with sulfates, it lathers better, but since I've recently had a Keratin treatment and was suppose to use sulfate free shampoos, I've decided to give this a go.

This shampoo has a floral scent and for a sulfate free shampoo, it seems to lather pretty well, but I don't think I'll be repurchasing it, because it seriously didn't do much for my hair, and I was unable to justify the purchase of such an expensive shampoo....
