My Opinion:

This lipstick feels dry on the lips and during application it drags. Although I did not like the texture, I've really like the shade. Does anybody knows a dupe for this shade with a better formulation?

e.l.f Natural Radiance Blusher

Contents: 0.7oz / 2.0 g
Shade: 2303 Coy
Price: US$1.00

For product details please check out my previous post.

I'd remember not liking these blushes, but found this one hidden in the drawer unopened, so please note this is not from a recent purchase.

I've checked with the e.l.f's webpage and noticed that they have repackaged this product, and the contents has been increased to 6g while the price has been raised to US$2.

I'm not sure if the formula has been changed, but the one that I have is very powdery, but since this particular shade seems to look good on me, I've been wearing it frequently.

Flat Top Kabuki Brushes

I've always wanted to review my brushes, but I could never figure out where to start or how to organize them, so today I've decided to review the brushes that I used the most, and that's the flat top kabuki, I used them daily because I use them for my foundation, bb creams, minerals, basically I always use a flat top kabuki for my base makeup.

e.l.f. Studio Powder Brush
Material: Synthetic haired Taklon
Price: US3.00

Amongst all of my flat top brushes, this was the cheapest, but it isn't as densely packed or as soft as the ones below, and this brush does shed. I'm on my 3rd brush, because the last 2 fell apart after wash.

Coastal Scents Bionic Flat Top Buffer
Material: Synthetic Bristles
Price: $6.95

This is my favorite flat top, it's very dense, very soft and it doesn't shed. The reason why I like it the best is because it has the biggest brush head and it really speeds up my application time. I have 2 of those that I rotate and I only use them for liquid foundations, I had them for nearly 2 years and they're still doing fine.

Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki
Material: Synthetic Sigmax
Price: US$18.00

I find the Sigma flat top kabuki to be really similar to the Coastal Scent's one, the only difference is the brush head size, which is slightly smaller and I prefer bigger flat top kabukis.

Sonia Kashuk Synthetic Flat Top Multipurpose Brush
Material: Synthetic Nylon
Price: US$15.79

The Sonia Kashuk Synthetic Flat Top has the chicest brush handle, but it has the smallest brush head, and I find that it takes forever for me to blend the foundation with this brush.

Everyday Minerals Flat Top Brush
Material: Synthetic Hair
Price: US$12.99

I mainly use this brush for powder or mineral foundations, because I find the hair to be longer than the above mentioned brushes and it works better with powders.

Jane Iredale The Handi Brush
Material: Goat Hair
Price: US$45.00

This is actually my first flat top, and the most expensive one. I got this together with the Jane Iredale foundation. Back then I was still new to mineral makeup and was told that this brush works best with minerals.

I hardly use this anymore, because I prefer synthetic brushes, and natural hair brushes are harder to take care of.

e.l.f. Cream Blush

Contents: 0.53oz/15g

Shade: 83245 Seductress
Price: US$6.00

My Opinion:
For product details please check out my previous post on e.l.f. cream blushes in the shade Tease or Temptress.

I've said before that I love elf cream blushes, and still love them, particularly this shade, it's super pigmented and you only need a tiny bit of product.

I've still got 2 more shades of these cream blushes that I haven't tried yet, should I swatch them all? Please let me know if you are interested.

e.l.f. Brushes

Foundation Brush - 粉底掃

Small Angled Brush-斜型眼線掃

Blush Brush-胭脂掃

Powder Brush-碎粉掃

Flat Eyeliner Brush-平頭眼線掃

My Opinion:
e.l.f. brushes are actually hits or misses, there are some that I really like, but there are also a few that I barely touched, but before I start with my review, let me clarify that I don't usually use the brushes for the expected purpose. Like the foundation brush, I never use it to apply foundation, actually I never use paddle brushes for foundation, the result is always streaky, but I like to use this kind of foundation brushes for cream blushes.

Please ignore the stain on the small angle brush above because it has been used, and I like to use it for a wing liner.

The blush brush was really a miss, personally I found it too small for blushes and a bit to scratchy for my taste, but I can still use it for highlighters.

Again the powder blush was actually too small for powder (IMO), but I found it to be the right size for blushes or bronzers.

Finally, for the flat liner brush, I found it to be too soft for liner, and I actually prefer to use it for highlights in the inner corner of my eyes.

Perhaps I'm weird when it comes to makeup brushes, but I'll always find a way to use them.

e.l.f. Cream Blush

Contents: 0.53oz/15g
Shade: 83244 Temptress
Price: US$6.00

For product details, please check out my previous post on the e.l.f. cream blush.

My Opinion:

I've got a bunch of e.l.f. cream blushes and this particular shade deserves a special review.

This shade actually came unexpected, because I was shopping for blushes and was very excited to find these in the store and have grabbed all the shades available, I wasn't expecting to find a bronzer in it.

Initially I was kind of dissapointed, because personally I prefer shimmery bronzers, but when I've tried to use it to contour, I was really glad with the results, powder has never worked for me, and it always look too obvious, but this bronzer was just perfect, it contours while still looking natural.

容量:0.53oz/15g
顏色:83244 Temptress
價錢: US$6.00

有關產品說明,大家可以參考早前的有關e.l.f. Cream Blush的文章

我的意見:

對於修容初哥這是必備產品,小妹每次用粉狀修容產品後總覺得效果好假,但用了這個修容霜後,效果好自然。正!

e.l.f Cream Blush

Contents: 0.53 oz / 15g
Shade: 83243 Tease

According to the package:

  1. Smoothes on as a cream and finishes as a velvety soft powder for long-lasting rich color that's never greasy
  2. Easy to blend for layering and building color for sculpting highlighting and adding dimension
  3. Lightweight and refreshing formula looks natural and radiates a beautiful glow for all skin types

Direction:
  • Use over foundation for rich color intensity or under for a captivating glow.
  • Tap on the cream blush color with fingertip and blend onto skin.
  • Go as sheer or dramatic as you want by layering and building the color for desired effect.
  • Use two shades to define facial contours and sculpt cheekbones for the most natural looking finish
  • To prevent evaporation of product and to keep formula creamy, ensure cap is securely closed when not in use.

Ingredients: Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Polysilicone-11, Dimethicone/ Divinyl Dimethicone/ Silsesquioxane Crosspolymer Dimethicone/ Cinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Methl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Titanium Oxide (CI 77891), Laureth-12, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben.

My Opinion:

Everyone knows that I love the Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush, and I think the e.l.f. cream blush is a very similar product. They both have a mousse texture and dry to a powder finish, but I've noticed that the e.l.f. one is slightly softer and more pigmented, while the Maybelline one is more blendable.
