My Opinion:

I don't think anyone will purchase this product after reading the description in the box, but I've tried the sample and really liked it, so I got my mum to get me the full size while she was in Korea.

This eye cream is very light weight, but it does an amazing job in hydrating my undereye area. I don't think it does any thing to the wrinkles, but it does get rid of all the dry lines.

If you have really dry undereye area, you need to try this, your skin will really drink up, and it doesn't interfere with your makeup. I love this stuff.

My Opinion:

I got this because it was recommended by one of my favorite youtube gurus iamgrape1119, and I've started using it during the summer.

This is a light eye gel which seems to provide enough hydation for me during the summer, but once hit fall, it wasn't providing enough moisture and hydration for my super dry under eye area. I guess this might work for someone with young skin, but for a middle age lady like me it didn't work. I'll be putting this away and use it again during the summer.

I was skeptical about snake serums, but I was also skeptical about snail skincare products, and now they are basically part of my daily beauty regime.

I've tried this twice and fell in love with the scent, it's the best citrusy scent that I've ever smell, but the product itself didn't really do much for me. I went to check out the rating for this product on makeupalley and it was pretty low, and since this product appears to be really expensive (retails for 127 pounds) I think I'll just skip it, but I might try out the Korean version which seems to be alot more affordable. 

 

L'oreal Revitalift White Advanced Anti-Wrinkle & Spot Corrector Day Cream SPF18 - HK$189/50ml

Although this is a day cream, it feels really thick and heavy on the skin, I've been applying a really thin layer and it stills feels heavy.

Another product that feels super heavy on the skin, but I found that there is a lighter version, so I might want to try that next.

The lady at SASA was really generous by giving me 5 packets of this product which amounts to 10ml of products, unfortunately this didn't work for me, after using it only twice I've started to develop milia underneath my eyes, so I've stopped using it immediately.

Crabtree and Evelyn La Source Body Lotion - HK$225/8.5fl oz

I had several tubes of this product, because it was included in the bathroom amenities of the hotel that I've stayed on my last trip. This is a really light lotion, and I think it'll only work for someone with really oily skin, it feels very watery and it gets absorbed almost instantly. This wasn't moisturizing enough for me.

ROC Multi-Correxion Anti-Age Moisturiser - HK$400/50ml

It appears that most of the skincare products that I've tried this month were all too heavy for my taste, and this is another product that felt heavy, and it left my skin shiny.



Loreal Youth Code Rejuvenating Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream

I got this product in a set (L'oreal Youth Code Duo ), in which I have already review the face cream, and for other product details please check out my previous post.

 

My Opinion:

 

I've been using Missha - MISA Geum Sul Eye Cream as my night time eye cream, but this was becoming too rich for the summer, and I wanted something lighter.

 

The L'oreal Youth Code Eye Cream although is call a cream, it actually has a moussy texture and it feels really light. This products absorbs really fast and it does provide a decent amount of hydration, overall I've really liked the products from the Youth code series and I think I might try out the serum as well.

My Opinion:

 

I've been using this product since 2009, and a bottle would last me for over a year.

I do not use this as an eye cream, but as a under eye primer, because this stuffs is full of silicones, and what it actually does is to fill in all those tiny lines under your eyes, providing a smooth surface for your concealer, any products that goes on top of this won't crease.

The trick is to use a tiny bit of product, and pat it in (don't ever rub), and wait for it to be fully absorbed before applying your concealer.

My Opinion:

While I was googling for this product I've noticed that it has got several names, is call MISA Golden Snowflake Eye Cream in the US and MISA Geum Sul Eye Cream in HK, but I believe that they are the same product.

Anyway, I got this as a gift from my sister in law (thanks Sharon), and she got this from Korea. I've recently finished my Guerlain Orchidee Imperiale Exceptional Complete Care Eye and Lip Cream  and needed a new eye cream so this was really handy, but my sister in law was warning me that this might be too nourishing, since my mother in law was using it as well (we have at least 20 years of age difference). Well she has really underestimated my under eye area, because after using it for about I month I found it to be not hydrating/nourishing enough for my undereye area.

The first thing that I've noticed with this eye cream is cones, because it left my under eye area really smooth, and the second thing that I've noticed is that the effect washes off in the next morning, my undereye area look exactly the same before application.

My Opinion:

 

Personally I prefer richer eye cream, and would never have bought this product, but since it was a free gift with purchase I gave it a try.

 

Although it has a cream texture, it feels very watery and hydrating (it absorbs instantly), but as I've mentioned before, I prefer richer eye cream, and was only able to use it in the day time, for the night time I really do need a nourishing eye cream.

 

I think this would be a great product for someone young with a few dry lines around their eyes and looking for some extra hydration.

My Opinion:

This is the most expensive eye cream that I've ever purchased. I've started to use it since November last year (only at night), and I still have about half of it left, so I guess one bottle would last you well over a year.

Since this was such an expensive product, I was really having  great expectation about it, well I guess I was naive, because apart from hydrating, it really didn't do much to my under eye area.

Don't get me wrong, this is a really good hydrating eye cream, because since I've started to use it at night, I've noticed that I can basically use any eye cream and concealer for the day time and my under eye area would still look presentable, no lines creeping out.

Before I've started with this eyecream, I was very fussy about concealers, because most of them tend to crease on me, but since I've started to use this eye cream, I've noticed that I can get away with dryer concealers.

My Opinion:

I've initially tried the collagen filler (for the whole face), which I've found useless, and I was kind of surprised with myself for getting the eye filler, because L'oreal skincare never seems to work for me....

I wasn't expecting much from this product, and I guess I was right, because this product did nothing to the lines around my eyes. This product is just an eye cream with some light reflecting particles which will brighten your undereye area.

I mainly use this as a undereye base, because it does brighten my undereye area, but I do still need a concealer on top of it.

My Opinion:
I got this mainly because of the consumer affairs report earlier this year claiming that this is one of the anti wrinkle products that actually works, according to the same report, several different brands of anti wrinkle products (a few were actually high end products) were tested, and that only 3 brands actually works, and Nivea was included.

After the report was published, this product actually went out of stock for several months, and I've to visit 3 drugstore to get hold of it. I've been using this for nearly a month and found that this eye cream absorbs really fast, hydrates my under eye area, but If I apply it too close to my lash line it burns my eyes....

Apart from the eye burning issue, this is a really good eyecream, and I find it even better than some of the high end products that I've been using.

The main reason why I've got this product was because the sales lady told me that you I can use it on top of my makeup.

Usually my undereye area gets kinda of dry around midday, so I usually pat this under my eye and reapply my concealer. I usually look better after this procedure....

My opinion:

I've always opt for eye cream instead of gel, because my undereye area is really dry and gel texture usually do not provide enough hydration for my needs, in other words, my dry lines become very obvious after I put on my makeup if I use a eye gel.

However, this is a suprisingly good eye gel, I've used it under my makeup and I didn't get any dry lines after i put on my makeup.

Neostrata Bionic Eye Cream

My opinion:

I love neostrata eye products, and I'm a huge fan of Neostrata Eye Cream. Unfortunately most of the online stores has stop shipping neostrata to international address.

Anyway, I ran out of my Neostrata Eye Cream and went to this store near my place and they didn't have what I wanted and recommended the Neostrata Bionic Eye Cream.

After using this for about 2 weeks, I really didn't see much of a difference between these 2 Neostrata eye creams, I think I'm to stick with the old one, at least it is cheaper.

My Opinion:

I love Lancome eye care products, and have been using it for several years, their eye creams are really rich without causing milia. You might have noticed that I always emphasis whether a product causes milia or not, because I can get them easily, even if I only use a wrong eye care product once, my undereye area is capable of developing several milia overnight, and it's a torture to get rid of it.

I got this for HK$478 at Bonjour, and I think is really worth it because a jar last me for over 6 month.

My Opinion:

This is my second tube, and I've actually decided not to use it anymore after I've finished my first tube, because I didn't see any improvement on my dark circles, and this eye cream is not hydrating at all, basically useless.

After my first tube, I've switch into something else and noticed that my dark circles got worse within 2 weeks, that's when I've decide to get my second tube, just to confirm whether my dark circles conditions are actually related with this product.

Now that my second tube is nearly over, I've confirmed that Hylexin does not remove my genetic dark circles, but it does prevent it from getting worse. However, using this alone is not sufficient for my needs (dry lines), I usually have to top it with a eye cream.

My Opinion:

In terms of hydration and anti-aging effects, this is only an average product, but I just can't live without it, because I've found out that this eyecream can actually reduce milia.

Perhaps it is due to my frequent changes in skincare product, I kept on having milia under my eyes, and since I've started to use neostrata eyecream, I've noticed that most of the milia are gone. I no longer use this eyecream everyday, but I always have a tube ready for emergencies.

My opinion:

I've been using this for over 2 years (I mainly use it at night only), and I think I'll keep on using it, because I've seen obvious improvement in my undereye area.

If you have been following my blog, I must have mentioned that I have really dry and sensitive undereye area, and most of the eye product that I've read people raving about, just doesn't work for me, e.g. estee lauder advance, clinique, la colline, valmont, etc. I've really tried my share of eye care products.

So for severeal years, I had been looking for "the perfect eyecream" until I've met StriVectin. I was actually hesitant in getting this because I've read a lot of negative reviews about it, but since I've already tried so many eyecare products, I don't think one more will really hurt.

When I've first started using it, I've actually felt that warmth feeling, but after 2 years I don't feel anything when using it, this is just my regular eye cream. I've seen huge improvements in my dry lines, but don't expect it to erase your wrinkles, because it won't. I have this deep wrinkle under my right eye which i don't think it'll ever leave me, but i'm satisfy with the improvement, especially it has stop my undereye area getting worse.....
