SK-II Cellumination Essence

Contents: 30ml
Price: HK$662.10
Local of Purchase: SASA

According to SK-II webpage:

SK-II Cellumination Essence (Hydrating Serum) hydrates and refines the surface to boost skin s natural, healthy-looking glow and to help diminish the appearance of discoloration for a more even tone. * It conditions and refines for a skin surface with more even texture and transparency that boosts light transmission within the surface. More light transmission creates a healthy looking natural glow and makes the look of discolorations such as age spots have a less obvious contrast to natural skin color. * It contains concentrated SK-II Pitera that helps lead to improvement in overall skin appearance. * It permeates quickly into the skin and gives a light and smooth feeling when applied.

My Opinion:

I must have mentioned before that I always rely on SK-II products for skin whitening/brightening, and I actually swear by SK-II Whitening Source Derm Definition.

Since my mother already went thru 3 botlles of this product, and I wanted to try something new, I got one for myself. I've never had any skin reaction with SK-II products, but somehow I had a huge skin allergy with this product, it has started to break me out and later on my face was all swollen....

I'm sure that I'm not allergic to Pitera because I'm still using their treatment essense, I gave it to my mother and she didn't seems to have any problems with it.

  1. sorry to hear about your allergy...that's the risk with skincare: you never know even though other people swear by it and sometimes when something works for you for a while it can turn ineffective too (or worse, you get irritations on a product you used for a long time).
At least you can give it to your mum :)

    1. It really sucks, I've always liked SKII products and now I'll have to search for a substitute, but before that I have to stabilize my skin first.
