Hakugen Oil Control Paper (with powder coating)

Contents: 70 sheets
Price: HK$16.00
Local of Purchase: Sasa

According to Sasa's webpage:

description
Hakugen Oil Control Paper (With Powder-coating) is made of double layer of flax paper and coated with powder, which enhances the capacity for absorbing grease and sweat. It keeps skin fresh. Especially good for oily skin.

how to use it
Take out one sheet of Oil Control Paper. Use the dark side of the paper. Pat softly on skin to remove excess sweat and grease. Ideal to use before fixing make-up.

My Opinion:
When it comes to blotting sheets I've always used Clean and Clear, so seriously I've no idea why I got these.

Anyway, as I was expecting, this was a mistake, unlike clean an clear which feels plasticky and soft on the skin, these are real paper blotting sheets that feels rough on the skin. Each time I need at least 2 sheets of these to blot my skin while with Clean and Clear I've never used more than one, so I guess Clean and Clear is the winner

Clean and Clear Oil Control Film

Contents: 50 sheets
Price: HK$15
Local of Purchase: Sasa

According to the package:
Instantly soaks up excess oil and removes shine from your face, without smudging makeup  or leaving behind powder. Plus, they have an invigorating citrus fragrance to help you feel refreshed. Softer than paper, these silky sheets can be used easily around your nose and other areas of your face. Leaves skin refreshed, oil free and shine free.

Ingredients: Polypropylene, Iron Oxides, Fragrance.

My Opinion:
These are basically blotting sheets that will turn transparent when they soak up oil.

This is my summer essential product, because I have really oily skin during the summer, and I go thru a packet nearly every month. I've tried a few blotting sheets and Clean and Clear is definetly the best.

These blotting sheets comes in 2 shades, there's a blue one which does not have a scent, but personally I prefer the pink ones for the summer because it has a fresh citrus scent.
