My Opinion:

I've picked this up because I've needed a few more dollars for a free gifts.

This is a cream that feels really light on the skin, whenever I rub this on my hands it turns watery and it gets absorbed really fast. Since it feels so light on the skin, it wasn't enough for me during the winter, but it did feel great during the summer.

The only think I didn't like about this product is the floral scent, but the scent doesn't last, so I'll try to finish this off, but I don't think I'll be repurchasing.

My Opinion:

This is a richer bb cream that's better suited for someone with dry skin. I had this in the winter, but the shade was too dark (I was about NC20), so I've waited to try this out again in the summer but it was still too rich.

I've also noticed that this stuff does not provide much coverage and it does oxidize, so in order to make this work, I've been mixing it with my MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF15 in NC20. It works now and I'll try to finish what I have but I won't be repurchasing.

My Opinion:
While I was googling for this product I've noticed that it has got several names, is call MISA Golden Snowflake Eye Cream in the US and MISA Geum Sul Eye Cream in HK, but I believe that they are the same product.

Anyway, I got this as a gift from my sister in law (thanks Sharon), and she got this from Korea. I've recently finished my Guerlain Orchidee Imperiale Exceptional Complete Care Eye and Lip Cream  and needed a new eye cream so this was really handy, but my sister in law was warning me that this might be too nourishing, since my mother in law was using it as well (we have at least 20 years of age difference). Well she has really underestimated my under eye area, because after using it for about I month I found it to be not hydrating/nourishing enough for my undereye area.

The first thing that I've noticed with this eye cream is cones, because it left my under eye area really smooth, and the second thing that I've noticed is that the effect washes off in the next morning, my undereye area look exactly the same before application.

My Opinion:

I'm always excited when I need to go thru my makeup drawers, because I always end up finding something that I don't even remember getting.

I got this highlighter back in 2008, and found it in its original packing.... luckly this was a powder product, otherwise I would need to toss it.

Anyway, this is a highlighter with very subtle sheen and it isn't shimmery at all. Although it claims that it can be used as a finishing powder, so far I've only used it to highlight.

I think this product has a new packaging now, but it's still available at Missha.

Missha Super Aqua Blackhead Clear Oil

Contents: 30ml
Price: HKD153.00

According to Missha's webpage:

Say goodbye to blackheads without the use of painful nose patches, and get the perfectly clear nose you’ve always dreamed of.

This revolutionary new product comes in an adorable oil-drop style dispenser bottle, and works wonders on stubborn blackheads on the nose.

The aromatic oil has a very pleasing citrus scent and contains grape seed oil and green tea extracts that help ease out blackheads and other embedded debris, as well as camellia flower and lemon oils that control excess sebum secretion in the skin. The oil also contains Dead Sea salt granules that massage and exfoliate for a deeper cleansing effect

My Opinion:

I'm someone who hates to toss away things before finishing it off. If a product isn't breaking me out I will usually try to finish it off or give it to a friend.

I'm really sad to have to tell you that I've toss this away, and the reason is because it smells horrible, (exactly like cooking oil), and I just can't stand slathering this all over my face and massage.

Ingredients: Water, Titanium Dioxide, Cyclopentasiloxane, Phenyl Trimethicone, Alcohol Denat., Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor, Talc, PEG-10 Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Nelumbium Speciosum Flower Extrac, Sodium Citrate, Glycine, Citric Acid, Cyclomethicone, Diamond Powder, Serine, Glutamic Acid, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Ethyl Menthane Carboxamide, Coral Powder, Pearl Powder, Aspartic Acid, Leucine, Amethyst Powder, Tourmaline, Lysine, Alanine, Isoleucine, Tyrosine, Threonine, Proline, Valine, Phenylalanine, Butylene Glycol, Glycerine, Butylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Hexyl Laurate, Histidine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Methionine, Cysteine, Polyclyceryl-4 Isostearate, Hexyl Laurate, Arginine, Astaxanthin, Platinum Powder, Fragrance (Parfum), MethylparabenChlorphenesin, Butylparaben, Disodium EDTA, Hexyl Cinnamal, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Linalool, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Limonene

May contain [+/-; Iron Oxides (CI77491, CI77492, CI77499)]

My Opinion:

This is my favorite BB cream, because BB cream is really hard to color match, they usually come in really light shades and the color selection is really sparse. I think that The M Watery BB Cream only comes in one shade, and it matches me really well in the summer (NC30). Unfortunetly this has been discontinued, and I think it has been replaced by the M Shiny BB Cream (haven't try that out yet).

Recently I went to Thailand for holidays and I only brough this with me (no foundation), because you can apply it with your fingers and you are good to go. It feels very light and it has a high SPF factor great for travelling.

I would recommend this to any one with fairly good skin because this will even out your skin tone, but won't cover any thing, you'll still need your concealer.

Missha Super Aqua Aroma Deep Sea Water Facial Mist

Contents: 150ml Scent: Bergamot Price: HK$162
According to Missha's webpage:
A water-free facial mist that replenishes dry, thirsty skin better than water. Contains a special blend of Deep Sea Water and Ionised Water for better absorption and hydration. Comes in a handy spray bottle that can be used any time any place. Has the additional benefit of aromatherapy with infusions of essential oils that soothe, protect and refresh the senses.

Ingredients:

Sea Water, Actinidia Chinensis (Kiwi) Fruit extract, Solanum Lycopersicum (Tomato) Fruit/leaf/stem Extract, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Codium Tomentosum Extract, Laminaria Japonica Extract, Enteromorpha Compressa Extract, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Extract, Gelidium Cartilagineum Extract, Macrocystis Pyrifera Extract, Ecklonia Cava Extract, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium Citrate, Octyldodeceth-16, Butylene Clycol, Disodium EDTA, Water (Aqua), Citric Acid, Magnesium Gluconate, Calcium Gluconate, Zinc Gluconate, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance (parfum).

My Opinion:

Tell me that it has a citrus scent and I'm sold.... I got this mainly because it says that it's bergamot scented.

Tried it for several weeks and didn't find it amazing, I usually spritz some water on my face after I set my foundation with a power (hate powdery face), and although the mist head appears to be finer than the rest of the facial mist that I've tried, it just didn't stand out for me, and I don't think it's worth HK$162

Missha M Signature Radiance Makeup Base

Missha M Signature Radiance Makeup Base SPF 15 PA+
Shade: Green
Contents: 35ml
Price : HK$188

According to Missha's Webpage:

An excellent Makeup Base which evens out your skin tone with its powerful wearing benefit, while providing abundant moisture & nutrients to your skin with its powder enriched with MINERALS & BOTANICAL Collagen .

My Opinion:

This comes in 2 shades purple and green. The green one really washes me out, whenever I use it I always look pale/sick. I must have mentioned before that I only use it whenever I have redness or break outs (to even out the skintone).

I've been using it again recently and found out that it started to smell weird, so I've just toss it..... I think is about time for another project 10 pan and for this time I'm only going to count makeup products.

Missha DSW Deep Sea Makeup Fitting Gel

Contents: 50ml
Price: $98

According to Missha's webpage:
Main Ingredients: Deep Sea Water + Sea Weed Extract + Mineral Water
As a fresh and moist gel that contains deep sea water, it is quickly absorbed into the skin. By providing a lot of moisture to the skin, it not only causes make-up to evenly stick to the skin but also keeps make-up fresh all day.

What is DSW (Deep Sea Water)

Sea water that is more than 200 meters below sea level and that has been preserved in low temperature, high pressure, and has not contacted with air or sunlight in a thousand years. Pure and clean water without various pollutants or bacteria and is rich in mineralsas well as essential elements that has excellent hydrating and purifying effects.

I mainly use this to thin out my foundation, I had this Ipsa full coverage liquid foundation that is really thick, and I just can't wear it on its own because it gives me that mask feeling, so I use this fitting gel to thin out my foundation and make it wearable.

Missha M Multi Blusher (Sparkling Pearl)

Price:HK$188

(Left: No.1 Pink Right: No.2 Gold)

Pink Swatch

Gold Swatch

According to Missha's webpage:

Missha M Multi Blusher contains pearl powders that give the skin a new-found shimmering brightness.
Mix all four colors togerther, or use one color on its own for highlighting.
Can be used as an eyeshadow with its fine pearl finish.

My Opinion:

I like using a shimmery blush on top of a matt blush for some dimension, and I was using Bobbie Brown Shimmer brink in Rose for this purpose.

During summer I've wanted to get the Shimmer brick in bronze, but came accross Missha and got the golden one instead. After I have used it for several times, I've liked it so much that I went back to get the Pink one as well.

In general I don't really like Missha's cosmetics, but these 2 are the only exceptions, and now I hardly touch my shimmer bricks anymore.

Note: the reason why i prefer Missha over Bobbie Brown is because of the shimmery particles in the product, the Bobbie Brown one is really shimmery, and personally I prefer a more subtle glow

Missha The Style

MISSHA THE STYLE CREAMY EYES
HK$78/3g

YE01 (yellow)

BR01 (pink)

According to Missha's webpage:
  • It contains silicon oil, providing a creamy and soft texture.
  • It expresses luxurious and natural eye makeup.
This comes in 5 shades, but don't bother getting more than one, because you'll only see a pack of shimmers, the pigmentation is so poor that you won't see any coloring at all (I didn't even bother to swatch it because all you are going to see is a pack of shimmers) .

If you really like this kind of shimmers go get the Majolica Majorca Frozen Splash Eyes (check out my other review), they are almost identical but the MJ one is cheaper HK$78/4g.

The Syle Shinning Stick

GL01 (golden)

According to Missha's webpage:

Here's a quick and easy way to get the trendiest new look for eyes. This creamy eye-shadow comes in the season's hottest new shades that have been accentuated with pearl powder for more definition. They come in convenient pencil sticks that can be carried around anywhere.

In comparison with Creamy Eyes, this is less shimmery and slightly more pigmented, but is still not comparable with my paintpots.

Note: Both of these cream shadows creases.
