November 2014 - April 2015 Empties

It's been six months since I've last updated my blog, and yes I'm still alive, although I've been thru a lot in these few months, I'm not going to bored you with the details of my personal life.

Let's start with a huge empty article, but I must admit that I did not take pictures of every single item that I've finished in the last six month, because there was a stage when I was actually going to give up blogging, but when I notice that people are actually still reading my blog, I've decided to start over.

Since I've got so many pictures of empties I've decided to group them by categories:

Concealers:

I've technically only finished 3 concealers, because the maybelline one was dried out, and amongst these four I've only repurchased Bobbi Brown. 

Fragrances:

I'd never actually though that I would finished that many fragrances in six month, but I'm glad that I did, because now I can move on to new ones. I have repurchased the Body Fantasy in vanilla, and if it were still available I would have repurchased the Burberry one, but since it was a limited edition I was unable to locate it. For all the others, I did enjoy them while I had it, but I don't think I like them enough to repurchase.

Cleansers:

This is just a group of essentials, makeup removers and cleansers, nothing worth mentioning or raving about.

Hair treatment

Now this is a category worth mentioning, apart from the essential hair mask and the Joico K-pak that I can't be without, I've really liked the It's a 10 Miracle Deep Conditioner and the Kiehl's Olive Hair mask, I've actually stock up on the Kiehl's hair mask when they were having 20% off last week.

Shampoo

I've switch to sulfate free shampoo about a year ago, and for the past year I've found a few really good ones, that would include it's a 10 and alba botanica, however I've only recently noticed that alba botanica clarifying shampoo has been discontinued.

Body Moisturizer

I'm not in love with any of these body moisturizer, but it's worth mentioning that the L'occitane one is a whipped cream that I've finished in 10 days (unbelievable) and given the price I don't think I'll be repurchasing..., and the body shop satsuma sorbet smells aaaaaaamazing, but it provides zero hydration.

Facial Serums and Moisturizer

I've gone tru 2 bottles of the Caudalie Vinosource, and this has become an essential for me, regarding the Estee Lauder Ceramide Eye Complex Capsules, these are great for travelling, therefore I always have a bottle around. 

Apart from the Olay eye serum which has given me milia, I've enjoyed using everything in this category.

Masks

I'm pretty sure that I've gone thru more masks than what's shown, but I must have forgotten to take pictures. I would definetly repurchase the o'slee and the proactive mask, but I'm not so sure about the paper mask.

Shower Gel

Again another category that I've forgotten to take pictures for my empties.... But I'm sure that I've gone thru at least 2 bottles of the L'occitane Lavander Shower Gel, and this has become one of my favorites.

Miscellaneous

I must have gone thru half a dozen of hand washes, blotting sheet and at least 2 bottles of the ettusais aqua splash ob which is a mattifier. I haven't written a review for this, but this is mine summer essential which I'll be reviewing soon.

October 2014 Empties

1.   Bath and Body Works Foaming Soap in Iced Ginger Bread - This is my least favorite X'mas scented hand wash, but that's because I'm not a huge fan of ginger scented stuffs.

2.   Maybelline Clean Express Miracle Oil

3.  Fleur de Lys Princesse Marina De Bourbon for women

4.   Skinfood Lettuce and Cucumber Water Drop Essence

5.   Moroccanoil Treatment Light

6.   O2 Reborn - I've not idea what this product is called (everything is in english), but is a cream that you apply to your hair (damp or dry) and it's suppose to enhance your curl and tame frizz. It works great on curly hair, but for the last 12 months I've been enjoying straight hair, and this stuff have been in my possession for way too long, so is going to the bin.

7.   Kai Beauty Care Eyelash Treatment - Didn't finish this, but it has started to smell funky

8.  Tresemme 24 Hour Body - it did absolutely nothing for my hair, it has been sitting in my bathroom for over a year, is going to the bin

9.  Nuxe Creme Prodigieuse- It took me forever to finish this product, because I can't use it consecutively for more than 3 days, it breaks me out. So I've only been using this once or twice a week and it took forever to finish this.

10.  Revlon Colorstay Mineral Lip Glaze - It has started to separate.

11. Missha Lipgloss - Another lipgloss gone bad....

12. Crabtree and Evelyn Hand Cream Set - Everybody was raving about this, so I got a set during X'mas last year to try. It was OK, it smella really good, but I need something richer for my hands.

13.   Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray - This is the original formula, and my third bottle, and I've still got one to go (I've ordered 4 online), but I don't think I'll be repurchasing because I prefer the L'egere Magic Airbrush Weightless B.B Makeup Fixer Spray.

14.  Lucido L Hair Powder Airy - This is awfulllllllll, it didn't gave me any volume, but it left my hair sticky and disgusting, it felt as if I haven't washed my hair for a whole month. I did not finish this, I've tossed it.

15.   Mentolathum Sunplay Water & Sport SPF130 PA+++ - I have no idea how many bottles of this I went thru, but this is my go to sunscreen for the summer and I'll keep on repurchasing.

16. Elastin Silk Repair - I love this hair treatment, it left my hair silky soft without weighting it down. I got this from gmarket, and when I went back to repurchase it was out of stock. I'll definitely stock up when they are back in stock.

17.  Lux Super Damage Repair - this is a hair mask for damage hair which was ok, but it did not blew me away. I've already finish my tub and did not repurchase, but I got another hair mask from Lux, the one with the moisturizing formula, and I'll be reviewing it soon.

18.  Adidas Intensive Cool Care 48h antiperspirant - this was an impulse purchase, I've finish the bottle without even remembering  what it smells like.

19.  Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Concentrate Sleeping Pack  - It took me forever to finish this stuff, I think there's still enough product for another usage, but I can't be bothered, because it really doesn't provide much hydration.

20.  Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2 - My summer favorite toner, and I always end up repurchasing, although it does contains alcohol, it really keep my skin clean.

September 2014 Empties

1.   Biore UV Perfect Face Milk SPF 50+ PA+++ - This is the new packaging, but I think is still the same product that I've reviewed before.

2.   Tree Hut Shea Sugar Body Butter

3.   The Face Shop Calendula Eden Essential Moisture Toner

4.  CND Scentsations Hand and Body Lotions in Honey Suckle and Pink Grapefruit - I'm not a huge fan of CND Hand and Body Lotions, because I found them too watery and not hydrating enough, but they do smell amazing.

5.   Marks and Spencer Floral Collection China Blue Anti-Prespirant - This is just a anti-prespirant, it did its job.

6.   Essential Damage Care Nuance Airy Hair Mask - I don't even remember how many tubs of these I've already went thru, definetly will be repurchasing.

 

7.  L'oreal Ever Pure Sulfate-Free Color Care System Volume Shampoo -  I didn't have time to write a review about this product, but I've already finish my first bottle and I love it, for a sulfate free shampoo, this was really good, it lathers well, cleanses well, wasn't drying, wasn't expensive, it was just great. Will definetly repurchase.

8.  Loreal Youth Code Rejuvenating Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream - When it comes to eye creams, I usually stick with high end prodcuts, but I though that this one was better than alot of the high ends that I've tried before.

 

 

9.   Ultima II Clear White Supreme Whitening and Anti-Aging Eye Essence

 

10.   Maybelline Pure Makeup - This used to be my summer go to foundation, and when I found out that these were being discontinued, I've stock up, I think this is my fourth bottle, and I'm actually kind of bored of it, but I've still got one more backup to go thru before I'm done with it.

11.   Garnier Light Gentle Clarifying Foam - I've previously tried a sample size of this and kind of like it, so I got this again in full size and have really enjoyed using it during the summer, because it feels really fresh and clean.

 

 

12.   L'oreal 6H glam shine lip gloss in the shade Forever Pink - I'm not really a gloss girl, so it always takes me forever to finish a gloss, actually I didn't really finish this, it just went bad, and I was really surprise to have found a back up of this gloss in my drawer, so I must have really liked it.

 

 

13.   Boots Beer & Egg Intensive Hair Treatment Weightless Hair - This used to be one of my favorite hair masks, but recently I've been getting bored of my usual favorites, I thing I'm going to to take a break from this product.

 

 

 14.  Bath and Body Works Hand Wash in Winter Candy Apple - This smells amazing, and if it ever comes back again during X'mas, I will be repurchasing.

 

 

15.  John Frieda Luminous Color Glaze Clear Shine - I've got a bottle of the Fekkai Salon Glaze when I've finish this bottle, and honestly I think John Frieda is way better than the Fekkai one.

 

16.  L'oreal Color Rich Nutri Shine Lipstick - I've gotten several of these color rich nutri shine lipsticks and 2 of them has started to smell funky, was it just mine, or does the formula goes bad really fast.

17.   Sally Hansen Polish Remover - I'm not too fuzzy about polish remover, and I buy whatever is being discounted.

 

18.   SANA Uruoitashi Moisture Mist  - I got this mainly for the bottle, so even though the product is gone, I've been refilling the bottle with whatever toner I'm using.

 

19.   Mentolathum Sunplay Water & Sport SPF130 PA+++ - I've several bottles of these around, one in the bathroom, one in my purse and one right beside the door (in case I forgot to apply sunscreen before I walk out the door), so it's no surprise the I've finished 3 bottles of these in this month.

20.   Avalon Organics Shampoo Scalp Treatment Tea Tree - I've initially gotten this for my husband who was complaining about oily scalp. Since he started to used this shampoo, I did not hear any more complains, and I've started to use this as well, and kind of like it, although I never notice any problems with my scalp I did like the scent and it left my hair clean without dryness. I've already purchase another bottle.

23.   Vaseline Aloe Fresh Moisturizing Daily Body Gel with 100% natural aloe vera

24.   Bath and Body Works Wallflowers Fragrance Bulb in Pink Sangria

25.   Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet - This was a sample that I got with purchase,and it has a whipped cream texture, which I'm not sure if I like it enough to purchase it in full size, but I took it with me on my last trip to Thailand, and it was hydrating enough even without any serum underneath.

26.   Caudalie Gentle Cleanser - Another sample that I got with purchase, while I wasn't sure about the moisturizing sorbet mentioned above, I'm pretty sure that I did not like this cream cleanser,  my skin didn't felt cleanse after using it.
